The RBI Update

Now that Hurricane Milton is behind us, we are working hard to assess Palm Beach County’s increased needs. Our incredible team is working hard to serve many in our community.

In fact, the Palm Beach County Sheriff and his Deputies assist our team each week as we distribute food throughout the county, making us the true bridge between available food and the people who need it most.

While we were forced to suspend operations as Milton was approaching, we made sure nothing went to waste and sent two semi-trucks full of food (and our Sheriff’s Deputies!) to Tampa as well as to Asheville, NC, to help people impacted by Hurricane Helene.

The RBI team continues to serve our food insecure communities in a dignified way, but we do it almost entirely on donations – of food, time, and money.

RBI By the numbers

• Distributes wholesome food to 100,000 food insecure people in a week
• Provides meals for 1,500+ families every Saturday at the Boynton Beach Mall
• Over 1 million pounds of food distributed per month
• Over $8 million worth of food is distributed in a year
• Only $7 feeds a family of 4 for a week with 35 pounds of food
